Sarah Arobba

Mrs. Arobba is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. In 1982, Sarah obtained her degree in business secondary education and went into the accounting business with her husband, who in the same year obtained his CPA license. They established their business at home and worked solely with Tribes, tribal organizations, and non-profit entities.

After a few years in their own specialized areas of accounting, Mrs. Arobba broke away in specialized areas of bookkeeping, computer implementation, training and technical assistance in computer-based accounting systems. She opened her own consulting business, Wintercount Consulting, encompassing these specialized activities. Sarah has been involved with the Asniya program providing the bookkeeping and accounting services on a voluntary basis since 2002.

"The path to one’s strength, pride, integrity and wisdom often starts with a vision as a child. Our children may be granted visions in many ways. Often it is through a teacher with a pure heart.”
