Kathleen Sykes

Kathleen grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Bates College in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science and from Suffolk University Law School in 1991 with a Juris Doctor. She is a member of the bars of both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

As an attorney for the Boston office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi, Kathleen specialized in complex commercial litigation.

Her first involvement in the nonprofit world was in 2006 as a Board member for Smiling Kids, resourced children.

In 2009, Kathleen began writing grants for Fitness Forward, a nonprofit focused on wellness programming in the Boston Public School system.

Currently she consults for several Boston area nonprofits on fundraising, organizational strategy and outcome measurement. Kathleen coordinates the resource development program for Ansiya.
